So
far this year has flown by. It seems like I looked out the window just
yesterday and saw winter and then woke up this morning to Spring. Life
has been so busy that I hate to admit that I have been guilty of a
little "tunnel vision" and I haven't taken the time to appreciate the
changes that are taking place right in front of me. I finally took a
long overdue yard tour and saw that I had bleeding hearts blooming and
that the old lilac tree at the end of the house had a few white blooms
at the top. There were even treasures that I forgot I had. Next to my
old bike are the starts of the hosta that gets just huge and beautiful
every summer. It dies down so completely that I forget it's there all
winter till the first shoots start showing in March. I hope to get the
porch done this spring and furnished with some great comfy chairs so
that Ken and I can sit out there in the evenings and enjoy the sights
and scents of Rose Haven in the summer.
In
January, I moved from my small two room office just big enough for a
few things, into a space more than twice that size. It's been so much
fun to decorate and have room to really work on my designs. There are
so many things that I have sketched out and planned to make and I hope
I can get back to that part of my business very soon. We have several
new product lines that we are in the process of getting on line and I'm
very excited about that. I've been working closely with Diana of
Violette and Chris from Perfect Scents Candles to design products that
really represent the look and feel of what I consider to be "Rose
Haven". I hope that you take some time and look through our scent
lines. From floral scents to clean woodsy scents, I feel like we have
found something that will appeal to everyone. And don't forget to
bookmark us and visit often as we continue to add new products and
images all the time.
